On Sunday 17th July 2016 the club will be hosting a McDonalds swimathon challenge. It’s 2nd year of running the event, 17 McDonalds stores will be entering 6 person teams into a challenge to continuously swim for 45 minutes in a team relay.

Prizes are given to those entering, including:-

  • Most lengths swum in 45 minutes;
  • Most Money raised by a team;
Thanet Swim club members are able to support the teams as “jokers” providing a brief rest bite for the team. Although each team only gets 5 joker cards during the 45 minutes.

All money raised will be split and go towards two fantastic charities:-
