Seahawk Senior Squad

Dan Cross (Head Coach)


Dan joined the club in 2014, previously working as an assistant coach with Guilford Swimming Club. As the clubs head coach, he has guided us to our best ever results in the Arena League and worked with our performance swimmers to be recognised by British Swimming. Dan was chosen to represent team GB at a Breaststroke post World Championships camp in 2015. Dan is a Level 3 Coach.

Keiron Piper


Kerion joined the club in 2015 as an assistant coach to the Seahawk Senior squad. Keiron was one of the clubs 1st National winners as a swimmer and has brought this winning mentality to the swimmers through his coaching. Kerion is Level 2 Coach qualified.

Kim Latham


Kim has been working with the club for a number of years, providing skills training to our younger senior squad swimmers. Now she leads the coaching of our transition squad. Kim is level 2 Coach and level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualified.

Cathy Macartney

Cathy has been coaching with the club for many years, with Seahawks juniors teaching technique in a fun way and senior squads where she has been coaching national swimmers. Cathy is level 1 Coach and level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualified.

Paul Cowham

Paul is a poolside helper who has achieved a Level 1 Teaching Aquatic qualification.

John White (Head Coach)


John has been a coach with the club since its formation, previously working with Herne Bay Swimming Club and Margate Swimming Club. John brings a wealth of experience to the club and is our Seahawk Junior Squad Head coach.

Claire has been working with our Junior Squad swimmers for the past 4 years, delivering stamina and skills based training. Claire is Level 2 Coaching and level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualified.

Lindsay has been coaching with Thanet Swim Club for several years starting out helping with our  Junior Squad swimmers and is now running our Seals Squad.    Lindsay is level 2 teaching aquatic qualified


Dolphin Junior & Senior Squads

Kenny Boyd (Head Coach)


Kenny has been the clubs Dolphin squad head coach since its inception. Providing training to both junior and senior squads under the British Swimming long term athlete development  programme, Kenny brings together performance training with emphasis on skills development. Kenny is Level 2 Coaching and Teaching Aquatics qualified.

Mandie Dale

Mandie has been coaching for a number of years, previously with Margate Swimming club. Mandie coaches the younger swimmers providing technique training.

Sue leads the delivery of teaching technique improvement to our non competitive swimmers. Sue is level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualified.

Stephanie supports Sue in teaching our non competitive swimmers. Stephanie is level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualified.
