Membership entitlement:
Club membership fees entitle each swimmer to the equivalent of 46 weeks of training per annum. Fees are spread across 12 standard monthly payments. This allows for the 2-week break in August, some disruption to session times over the Christmas and Easter breaks and for some sessions being cancelled due to galas and club champs. Fees must be paid consistently to cover costs during our down periods (e.g. coaches’ wages, etc.).
Holiday Swimmers Fees
Holiday swimmers are those who are at university during term time or who live away from the Thanet area for school but who return to us for coaching during holiday times. The club is always happy to welcome holiday swimmers but we need to maintain a fair arrangement for both holiday and full-time swimmers. Youth Performance Squad – £250 (can be paid £62.50 per quarter)
Age Group Performance Squad – £225 (can be paid £56.25 per quarter)
Senior Competition/Junior Performance Squads – £200 (can be paid £50 per quarter)
Masters Lanes (uncoached) – £120* (can be paid £30 per quarter)
These fees include:
Access to training / pool-time during university holiday times
Access to land training sessions (*except Masters)
Re-joining Fee
Due to to a small number of parents giving notice to quit in July and August, then planning to re-join in September, we implement a re-joining fee of £50 per swimmer or one month’s fees – whichever is greater. The re-joining fee will be applied to any swimmer who ‘leaves’ in the months of Jul/Aug and returns in Sep/Oct and is applicable across all squads. Swimmer/s will not be allowed to rejoin training until the fee is paid.
A rejoining fee will also apply if a swimmer leaves without giving one month’s notice and then rejoins at a later date.
