Kent Junior League success

On Saturday evening two Thanet teams travelled across Kent to compete in the final round of Kent Junior League 2022.

Our A team were competing in Tonbridge against the top 6 teams in the county. Ranked 2nd from the first 2 rounds, the final round was a winner takes all. Some fantastic team swims, kept the top 3 teams very close, with only 10.5 points between them. With the final relays crowning the champion, we were just pipped into 2nd behind Bromley. Congratulations to Bromley on their 1st KJL win.

Our B team were competing at Crook Log against the next top 6 teams in the county. Being the only B team in the league, we faced huge challenges to compete at this level. Our young team dug deep and produced some excellent swims to finish in 3rd position, only 2 points from the joint 1st place winners Erith District and Saxon Crown.

Fantastic team efforts from everyone involved
