Thanet Swim Club

Congratulations to Kyri Papa-Adams, Ben Evans and Katie Latham who were slected to represent the South East at the 62nd Inter-Divisional Championships held in Liverpool at the weekend.

Ben competed in 2 events in the Junior Boys and came 2nd in the 400IM and then 3rd in the 200m Fly.

Both Kyri and Katie were competing in the Inter Age Group and again both had 2 events. Kyri doubled up in the 200IM and 400IM and finsihed 3rd in the 200IM and mtached Ben by also finishing 2nd in the 400IM. Katie swam both the 100m and 200m Backstroke and finished 7th and 6th respectively.

BYO Summer BBQ at Stone Bay starting at 4pm until dusk, weather permitting!

Thursday 30th August

Surfing Day at Joss Bay starting at 10am, weather and tide dependent!!

This Tuesday at 6.30pm (3rd July) we are updating our Photo Gallery in particular for pictures we can use with Press Releases.

Please remember to bring your Polo Shirts.

Whilst the closing date is not until August it might be a good idea to complete your entry form now rather then wait until after the summer break.

This year the Club Championships will be a licensed gala to conform with the NEW Kent ASA requirement that all entry times for the 2013 County Championships must be achieved at a licensed meet – Time Trials will no longer count.
