Well I think the evidence suggests that swimmers make really good competitors for the Modern Biathlon, in fact Thanet Swimmers make really good Biathletes!!!
Thanet Swim Club dominated the Kent Schools Championship held at the Tonbridge School on Sunday 21st October.
Rowan Fuss won the the Year 5 boys, Cameron MacRae and Beth Williams won the Year 5 boys and girld respectively, Alex Wilmshurst won the Year 9 boys and Lauren Joy won the Years 10/11 girls.
In Year 7 Jack Baker and Tamsin both finished 3rd and in Year 8 Adam Lynch and Ailsa MacRae both finished 2nd.
There were other top 6 places for Sommer Ansley, Amy Piper, Thomas King and Alex Boyd (Year 6), Robyn Moon (Year 7) and Lauren Palmer-Jones (Year 9).
But there was so much strength in depth with Shiam Srikumar, Olivia Miles, Nicole Palmer-Jones and Phoebe Moon all competing in Year 5, Chloe Parkinson and Abbie Robinson in Year 7.

Apologies if I have missed anyone out.
