Thanet Swim Club

Our final full day, started as usual with an early swim and breakfast.

The coaches swapping lanes and delivering real skill based sets.

Once back at the hotel it was time to enjoy the hottest day of the camp at 29 degrees.

Lunch was a usual mix of meats, pasta, pizza and salads

Then it was on to the final evening of entertainment and team challenges.

First team challenge was a mini arena league gala

Where the “Cream Crackers” came out victorious.

Then the main event, coaches versus swimmers. (Although coaches wore fins). Which was a 4×50 long course relay, and the coaches won by 5m from the 3 other senior swimmer teams.

After which, there was the annual football game, where tackles were flying and not for the faint hearted.

Then it was back to the hotel for dinner and final challenges of talent show and karaoke.

After which it was off to bed and packing bags ready for coming home tomorrow.
