Thanet Swim Club

As some of you may already be aware we have unfortunately been unable to secure a referee or sufficient qualified officials required under the new licencing rules to be able to run the sessions scheduled for our No Frills gala on Saturday 18th April. Rather than cancel completely the best option we have is to merge the two days into one on the Sunday 19th April

Please can you inform your swimmers and let me know asap if anyone wishes to withdraw/change swims because of this change and we will issue refunds. Otherwise all entries have been accepted and we remain able to accept additional entries until 9th April email to lynngates@live.co.uk

Sessions 1&2 will be SESSION 1 Sunday 19th April warm up 12noon Start 12.45pm
Session 3,4&5 will be SESSION 2 Sunday 19th April warm up tbc but likely to be 3.15pm Start 4pm to end by 7pm at the latest.

We are still desperate for officials and if you have any friends or members of your club who would be willing to help please ask them and let Wendy Boyd (wendyboyd@btinternet.com) know asap.

No Frills Entry Pack – extended entry deadline + reduced QTs

We have space available across a number of events at Thanet’s ‘No Frills’ gala on 18th & 19th April and we have reduced the entry qualification times to allow any swimmers not necessarily aiming for Regional times to be able to come and join in the fun.

Due to circumstances outside the clubs control, we have recently had to cancel sessions short.

Please be aware that the club have a responsibility for swimmers during training.   It is expected that a parent/guardian will be available/contactable in order to collect the swimmers during session times.
