Thanet Swim Club

We are pleased to be hosting the next round of Arena League at Hartsdown Park on the 8th November

The draw is as follows:-

Gala 1 Guildford A, Portsmouth, Wycombe, Guildford B, Staines, Newbury

Gala 2 Thanet, Sevenoaks, Rushmoor, Bracknell, Bromley, Chelmsford

Gala 3 Beckenham, Oxford, Woking, Windsor, RTW, Amersham

After a frantic race to make the Arena League gala in Woking, the team (chosen from Seahawks and Dolphins) performed exceptionally to outpoint Portsmouth Northsea and win the gala.

The atmosphere was electric all night and every swimmer gave 100% for the team. With headbands, war paint and tattoo’s the team looked the great!

Well done to everyone and roll on Round 2 on the 8th November.

We hope as many of the swimmers and parents can make the event, as there will be some fun and games.

Following the release of the Competition Review, British Swimming recognises that counties may have forged ahead with their own arrangements for 2015 but would wish where possible for counties to put in place some of the proposals of the Competition Review. To this end, for 2015 KCASA has introduced 100m events for 10 year old girls, 10 and 11 year old boys. For these 100m events this will be a combined age group 10/11 years for awards. Age still remains as at 8 March 2015.
