Brilliant day at Kent & London Region OW Champs
– our team achieved some brilliant results!
Evie Slater GOLD in Kent & 1st 13y/o overall in 2km event
Ben Millington SILVER in Kent & 3rd 15y/o overall in 3km event
Alana Wright SILVER in Kent & 4th 14y/o overall in 3km event
Grace Cummings BRONZE in Kent & 5th 13y/o overall in 2km event

Also swimming this weekend was Lily Jewell at the Welsh National Chamionships, she competed in a gruelling 5k race and achieved a BRONZE medal podium place!
WELL DONE to our SE Region Age Group Squad who competed over two weekends at K2 Crawley during May. We had 17 swimmers in 102 races and they made 23 finals! Our medallists were: Archie Hawkins 4x Gold (1500, 800, 400 & 200Free), 3x Silver (100Fr, 200IM & 400IM), 1x Bronze (200Fly); Olivia Parpworth 4x Gold (1500, 800, 400 Free & 400IM), 1x Silver (200Fly) and 2x Bronze (100Fr & 100Fly); and Amber Piper 1x Bronze (400IM) – the very last race of the competition!

Massive CONGRATULATIONS to Maisie Macartney for an amazing 7th place finish at the European Open Water Championships 10km senior race in Brive, France. Maisie was up against 94 of Europe’s very best open water swimmers, including Olympic and World medallists! She was the fastest GB swimmer and faster junior overall.
