Thanet SC swimmers Maisie Macartney and Rosie Arnold flew out to the USA with the GB Junior team on Saturday 25th February. They will spend four days aclimatising and training before competing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday alongside some very famous GB swimmers including Adam Peaty, James Guy, Jaz Carlin, Hannah Miley and Aimee Willmott. Maisie & Rosie swim for GB at the Indianapolis Arena Pro Swim Series

The day included: two pool sessions covering starts/turns and sprints; a talk on race preparation and nutrition; and opportunity for photos with Mark. A great time was had by all.
The final details for this Saturdays camp at Hartsdown are as follows:-
- Registration open from 11am
- Introduction Talk by Mark Foster at 11.30am
- Pool session (key focus – starts/turns) at 12pm
- Talk (Race Preparation/Nutrition) at 2.15pm
- Pool session (key focus – sprints) at 3pm
- Photo opportunity at 4pm
- Pick up at 4.15pm
Please note there will be no lunch break. If you bring some light snacks, these can be taken at 2pm.
The flight has taken off, with an expected landing time of 3.30pm
For those being picked up at Hartsdown, expected return time is between 5.50- 6.10pm
