Thanet Swim Club

The Olympic trials started today, where the club had three swimmers competing. With swimmers such as Adam Peaty, James Guy, Michael Jamieson, Ross Murdock and Hannah Miley swimming, it is amazing for the club to have 7 swimmers qualify.

• Ben Evans & Jamie O’Connor both swum in the 400m Freestyle
• Rosie Arnold swum in the 400m Individual Medley.

All three had impressive swims, with Jamie O’Connor qualifying for the Junior Final, where he stormed to an early lead before being caught on the last 50m to finish 4th.

Well done to everyone who competed.

We look forward to welcoming 25 clubs to tomorrows (Sunday) No Frills, last resort regional qualifier.

We have received a few late entries, that haven’t made the programme, but we wish everyone every success. FREE live results can be found on the link on the side of the website

We will be hosting our No Frills gala on Sunday, where 22 visiting clubs are attending, trying to achieve last chance Regional times.
