With many games including netball, tug of war, football and maybe kayaking, there is loads of activities. We will also be cooking burgers and sausages later on in the day.

Open to all club members it is a great way to introduce our newest members from Margate Swimming club.

Hope to see you all there!

Golden Girl

Drawing a close to the Age Group Nationals, the club have enjoyed a very successful championships.

Leading the way was Maisie Macartney with Gold in the 400m Freestyle to go with her silver and bronze. A fantastic acheivement and one for everyone at the club to aspire to.

Not to be outdone, the boys in Joshua Cowham and Alexander Boyd, both had great championships, with multiple final appearances and a bronze medal for Alex.

Both our boys and girls relays performed admirably, smashing their entry times and climbing rankings.

Now onto the Youth Nationals, Open Water Nationals and Welsh Nationals, GO THANET!

Dolphin Coach announcement

The club are delighted to announce the appointment of Kenny Boyd as the lead coach for the Dolphin squads (Junior and Senior).

With a very talented pool of swimmers in both squads, Kenny and his team will be continuing the great work undertaken by Graham Terry and John Vinson, developing technique and skills so that the squad can continue to perform well at Kent Junior League and look to enter in 2015’s Arena League.

Having some great applicants for the role, the Chairmen of Margate and Thanet Swim Clubs were joined by our Head Coach, in evaluating each of the candidates. It was a unanimous decision and we look forward to an exciting future for the club and Dolphin squads.
