What a Phenomenal Nationals for the club!

Notable Swims, Maisie.M 400m FC Gold Medal, Alex Boyd 200 IM Bronze, Katie Latham 50 Back Silver, Ben Evans 400m FC Bronze
Ben Evans dropped 8 seconds from his PB on the 400m FC to take bronze in 4:00.74 he was a huge outsider coming into this event and wasn’t expected to be near the medals but what can only be described as an inspirational swim of his life he touched out one of the medal favourites to take bronze! Truly unbelievable swim!
The club returns to training Tuesday 26th August.
Please remember this week until the 1st September remains on the same hours and squads as before.

Despite the cold, the club hosted a fantastic BBQ at Botany Bay with around 100 people attending.
With games such as tug of war
and netball
followed by BBQ food
and toasted marshmellows
A huge thank you goes to the Social Committee (Lisa Sullivan and Toni Moon) for organising the event and to Chris Panteli and Nick Baker for allowing the club use of there BBQ’s.
