Unfortunately we have been informed that the Black Lion Open is severely oversubscribed. Black Lion Swim Club have taken the decision to reject the entries as a whole from several clubs.
We have been advised that there are NO accepted entries for Thanet. Refunds will be processed to swimmers in due course.
Thanet will be attending the Dover Whitecliffs Gala and Herne Bay galas and details will be emailed out soon.
Time to get your entries sorted out for the Spring Galas!
The club has published details of 4 galas simultanteously so that swimmers can plan their time and sessions accordingly.
The galas are:
1. Bracknell Long Course 800/1500
Gala Date is 31st March at Aldershot. Closing Date 11th March. Entries to Anthony Jones
2. Bexley Long Course
Gala Date is 14th & 15th April at Crystal Palace. Closing Date 19th March. Entries to Phil Cope
3a. Crawley Long Course
Gala Date is 21st & 22nd April at K2. Closing Date 25th March. Entries to Phil Cope
OR
3b. Black Lion Short Course
Gala Date is 21st & 22nd April at Medway Park. Closing Date 19th March. Entries to Anthony Jones
Crawley is aimed at Regional/National Swimmers and Black Lion is aimed at Junior Squad/County Swimmers. There will be coaching staff at both venues.
As there are back-to-back Long Course galas, swimmers should ensure that they swim a varied programme and not over commit on either weekend.
Please submit entries before the closing dates including the £1.50 Admin fee for each gala.
Entries should be posted in the letter box at Hartsdown or handed to Phil or Anthony as indicated.
