Well done to our Kent Junior League teams who raced on Saturday 17th June. Our A-team came 4th in Division 1 with (175) points, the winners were Beckenham A with 230 points, then Sevenoaks A (225), Bromley (191), RTW Monson A (159) and Black Lion (82). Our B-team raced at home at Hartsdown and finished in a fantastic 2nd by just 3 points to Herne Bay who won with 244 points, also racing were RTW Monson B (207) and Dartford (196).
Well done to our team of 11 swimmers that competed in over 50 races at the Guildford Open over the weekend of the 17/18th November. Medallists were: Max Jameson who took ‘open’ Golds in the 100 & 200 Backstroke and Charley Langford who won junior medals in the 200 Free Gold and Silver in the 100 Free. The team also included Conor (who got his first Winter National QT in the 400IM) , Eva, Halle, Josh, Katie-M, Luca, Luke, Maddy, Nicole. They all swam loads of PBs and and placed really well in their age groups. Full results are on MeetMobile.
Well done also to our eight swimmers that competed for their schools at the England Secondary Schools Association (ESSA) National Schools Relay Championships at the London Aquatics Centre on Saturday 17th November, Ali, Ben, Oscar and William swam for Dane Court and Liam, Marley, Ollie and Rokas swam for Chatham House. Congratulations to Maisie Macartney on being awarded the Swim England National Talent Athlete of the Year for Open Water Swimming. This award recognises Maisie’s hard work and achievements representing the GB junior open water team for the last three years and her amazing result at the World Junior Open Water Championships, where she finished in fourth place.
