Welsh Nationals

Details of the Welsh Summer Nationals have been published and can be found here.

A group of our swimmers competed very successfully in Swansea in 2011. The championships takes place in July at the same time as the British Championships.
We do have to ensure that we provide an Official as this is a condition of entry for the meet. Plus a Team Manager will also need to be selected as we will also be covering Sheffield and home training so we will be stretched.

For the moment all our Head Coach needs is a declaration of interest from anyone who is considering going to these championships. When checking the entry times please remember to use the Non Welsh version and note that a qualifying time that is close to the lower (Base) time will possibly be rejected if the 2011 level of interest remains the same.

PLease email David Whorlow if you are interested and he will make a list of names for future information and meetings.

Finally, Laura Thomas has researched some University accomodation which can be found here although we will also be looking for cheap hotel accomodation.
